On the occasion of the President of the French Republic’s visit to Japan, the presence of the directors of the CNRS’s international laboratories, accompanied by their research teams — including the Mitate Lab — is a powerful testament to the dynamism and excellence of French science on the international stage.

Alongside the Minister for Research, the President of the CNRS and numerous leading figures from the scientific community, this meeting, held at the Laboratory of Integrated Mechatronics Microsystems (LIMMS) – which was the first international laboratory established between the CNRS and the University of Tokyo in 1995 – illustrates the vitality of Franco-Japanese scientific cooperation, as well as the pivotal role of the international initiatives led by the CNRS.
